The School of Computer Science and Applications, REVA University, proudly celebrates the successful showcase of the innovative project "Smart Fly Trap: Development of IoT-Enabled Traps for Monitoring Fruit Fly Population in Mango Crops" at the GKVK Sasya Santhe 2026 Exhibition, held from 10–12 July 2026.

The project was developed by MCA students Yashwanth S and Vismaya E P under the guidance of Dr. Rajeev Ranjan and Dr. Sneha N. The solution demonstrates the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in agriculture by enabling efficient monitoring of fruit fly populations in mango crops, contributing towards precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices.

We congratulate the students and faculty mentors on this remarkable achievement and for representing REVA University through impactful research and innovation.

The classrooms that once echoed with laughter, chaos, dreams, friendships, and countless moments will now live within us forever. It’s hard to accept that one chapter is ending, because somewhere between assignments, events, and ordinary days, these people became our home. 🎓✨
