Hope this message finds you all in good health. It is a very hard time, that we all are facing. We shall overcome.
I take this opportunity to inform you all that, it has been 5 years, since our journey started together at Alliance University (July 2015 batch).
In the last five years, I have seen many people who have reached heights by over coming all the hurdles that were put in front of them.
We all know, how much struggle we faced to reach this position.
I am happy to see many have taken their love journey that started in Alliance to the next level, by entering into married life. Congratulations!
On the other hand it is sad to see people who still have not started their career. Please do not loose your hope. Try try try, until you succeed.
Even the people who started their career at reputed organization have not seen pay raise over the years.
Without any surprise, we have lot of smart folks, who found their way to become entrepreneurs. Let it be food, brewing (coffee), defense, organic goods, bakery, home decor, construction, trading, you name it. We have them. We are proud to have entrepreneurs who have made their impression across various good & services industry.
We do have few dozens of expats, who are doing good in their profession.
There was one Author, who wrote a book about our life at "Alliance University" - book named "All about the last semester". By god's grace, it did not get published due to some technical issue. Let the publisher give birth to the Baby's book soon.
During our study at Alliance University, many economic reforms were made in India, implementation of Goods & Service Taxes to Demonetisation of Indian Currency.
We did not loose our hope even during those tough times. We made it till the end to obtain a degree to fly high.
I am happy to see many folks work for top brands in e-commerce like Amazon, in Big 4 Accounting firms, many even manage the servers of big companies like Facebook and Twitter.
Our proud marketeers are now backbone for many brands. They make their presence felt from News Media Advertising in top cities to Marketing & Sales of goods & services in a small village, across india.
We have a family that work tirelessly to keep the nation strong, across various fields and positions - Banking, Insurance, Motor, Advertising, inside sales, Field sales, Analysts, Account Managers, IT, Hospitals, Pharma, Supply Chain and so on.
I am even astonished to see people pursuing their higher education in foreign universities. My wishes for your Research Work!
On the other hand it is very sad to hear about the lay-off's happening during this Pandemic.
I kindly request my fellow Human Resources People, who are always good at People management to come up and help your alliance family members who are in need of job at this very moment.
I am not narrowing it down. Even, people who see a prospectus/opening at your current organization, please help them out.
People can guide them or direct them a correct path. Let them know, if they need to up-skill. We have many platform like Udemy, Coursera and so on to up-skill ourselves.
One should remember, Change is the only Constant!
We all need to capitalise this situation and come up with creative hacks to solve various issues that are about to be kept in front of us, once the complete unlock-down is done.
I need to congratulate folks working in Airline industry across various Airports in the country, for working in an agile environment by quickly adapting to the innovative and most effective changes.
Please find time to message and check on your friends, whether they are doing good or not.
Stay together. Let's fight this Pandemic together.
