by the Government of Karnataka. While the science stream parted ways with St. ]oseph’s College, Bangalore, the commerce stream was from St. ]oseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore. Joseph’s is not defined just in terms of academic excellence,but in directing its educational efforts to make future leaders, with a holistic combination of intellectual prowess, social concern, personal and moral values, with the leaders marching towards building a just and equitable society. It is with profound grief and sorrow that I convey to you the passing away of Rev. Fr. Roshan Lobo SJ.(49 years), Former Principal of SJPUC, earlier today due to a massive cardiac arrest. Father was an academician par excellence and a simple, humble human being. He was committed to ensuring that all his students excel in life. May his Amazing Soul, Rest In Peace! I request that all of us pray for him in a moment of silence. We are deeply saddened to inform you that Fr Roshan Lobo (BJES, Secretary& Treasurer) had a massive cardiac arrest at 6:00 pm today (13 August) and went to his eternal home. Fr Roshan was a simple, amiable, systematic Jesuit and was close to God in nature. May he rest in
eternal peace. The Funeral Mass of Fr Roshan Lobo will be at 3:00 pm tomorrow (14 August) in St Joseph's Boys' High School Chapel.
