✨ Glimpses from our Site Visit to BMRCL Casting Yard, Doddajala! ✨31st October 2025
Our Civil Engineering students got hands-on exposure to PSC works used in metro construction. From casting beds and reinforcement layout to prestressing, grouting, curing, and quality checks — students witnessed the complete process behind PSC girder production.

This visit helped bridge classroom learning with real-site practices and gave students a deeper understanding of how large-scale infrastructure like Namma Metro is built.

A big thanks to BMRCL and our faculty team for making this learning experience possible.

“Innovative Support Structures for Floating Offshore Wind Turbines” 🌀💡

🎙️ The session was delivered by Dr. Sharath Srinivasamurthy, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Institute of Ocean Energy, Saga University, Japan.

The talk provided deep insights into the challenges and opportunities in harnessing offshore wind energy, highlighting innovative structural solutions for sustainable energy development. 🌍⚡

Extensive Survey Camp for the academic year 2024-25 at Shri Subrahmanya Ghati. For every civil engineering student, the survey camp is a cherished milestone in their journey toward becoming a professional.

This unique experience blends rigorous fieldwork, hands-on exploration of surveving techniques, and the meticulous preparation of post-camp drawings. Spending over 10 days outdoors alongside friends, with delicious meals, creates lifelong memories for our civil engineering students.
This camp not only highlights the practical essence of our field but also reminds us of how civil engineering stands apart. We take immense pride in being part of this remarkable profession.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Management RVS, Principal, HOD and Camp Officers, Dr N. Jeevan and Prof. Puneeth M. S. for their exceptional efforts and dedication, for successfully concluding the camp.
