Srishti School of Law Environment and Planning The School of Law Environment and Planning seeks to broaden and deepen our engagement with place, space and nature - Urban and Rural, Local and Global.

We work with current communities to understand how people negotiate ideas of urban and rural, local and global and space and place and become sensitive to context. We develop a critical inquiry into the values of social and ecological justice in our societies, our ways of interacting with the natural and cultural resources of the world to help us mindfully engage in places and communities. Through

a focus on heritage and conservation, the school encourages an investigation of the tangible and intangible heritage of a place and its impact on the formation of identity. We believe a deeper understanding of the local cultural relationships to ecology will inform our aspiration for a sustainable future.
