The 3rd Convocation of MRSPTU pulsed with energy as Punjab Governor and Chancellor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria rallied the youth to fuel . Urging a shift from "job seekers" to "job creators" through AI and robotics, the Governor hailed the next generation of global leaders. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma spotlighted the university’s meteoric rise as a research powerhouse, while Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar ensured a ceremony of high-tech vision and grand tradition. ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ 25 ਮਾਰਚ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣਾ ਕਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ । ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੋਗ ਕੱਲ 3 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ।
​ਇਸ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਰੂਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਨੇਹੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਔਖੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
​ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਛੜੀ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ।
