On behalf of IEEE Student's Branch of RCCIIT, we are planning to celebrate Engineer's Day in our college on 15th September 2017. We are planning to release 'POWER STORY', magazine of RCCIIT like previous year. We would like to include some innovative technical,non technical articles, future or modern gadgets idea (The gadget which will be useful and you think came in near future)And also you can send us your Arduino/Raspberry and other selfmade project article with photo for magazine. send us through this mail - [email protected]

Hey guys,

Howz your preparation for the engineer's day... Amazing prizes are waiting for you. So gear up and be ready to fight for being the best. We are planning to make this event even more interesting. The quiz is not only for the registered candidates, but there will be quiz session for audience also with amazing prizes.

But guys, I don't think you will enjoy technical events only. Lets make the event more interesting. And yes engineers lets do something different. SELFIE CONTEST..... We are also going to organize a selfie contest as a a part Engineer's Day celebration. Rules of Selfie Contest is given below:

1. The selfie can be in group or alone.
2. Only one will upload it and you cant tag anyone. BUT U HAVE TO TAG OUR FB PAGE.
3. You have to upload with within 9:00 am to 3:30 pm on 15th September 2016
4. U have to inform us after uploading.U have to inform us through messenger or WhatsApp or phone call.

The department of electrical engineering is going to celebrate Engineer's day 2016 in collaboration with the IEEE student branch of RCCIIT on 15th September.
Our college is going to release a technical magazine for the first time in history on this event. For magazine technical innovative articles,projects, research works,etc can b included. Also you can include creative poems,painting, photographs etc. Any recent technology updates. But remember for any kind of article if u want to include pictures include it in your doc and send a PDF as well as word version of it to our mail id ( [email protected] ). Everyone should mention their name,class roll no.,department and phone no. with it.
Last date of submission is 5th September,2016. Technical articles will be given more priority. Selection of articles will be done by special board.

The department of electrical engineering is going to celebrate Engineer's day 2016 on 15th September in collaboration with the IEEE student branch of RCCIIT. There will be an event ppt competition held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The topics given to the participants are Corporate Social responsibility, Robotics, Green Energy, IOT ,Smart grid,Big data etc. It is open for in-house as well as outside college students. Every participant will get a Certificate (issued by IEEE Student Branch) and a memento will be given to winner. The interested participants should mention their name,class roll no.,department and submit it to Dipanwita Joddar (through facebook) and Krishnendu Mondal (Mob.- +918902252239) of EE 3rd year. Last date of submission is 4th September,2016. For any query write it in the comment section below or contact the above mentioned.

Hi everyone...
As u all know that from this year our college is going to celebrate the engineer's day on 15th Sept,2016.
So I think you all have started preparing the articles for the magazine.
Now let me tell you something more. Yes we are planning for a full day entertainment and we have kept lots of events in our planning...
1.There will be a Quiz competition. Rules of quiz competition:
It will be a team based quiz competition.each team will consist of 2 members.8 teams will play the final round on 15th September. All the members of the top 8 will get participation certificate from IEEE student branch except the winner and runners up team for whom there will be winner's and runner's up certificate respectively. And trophy will be there for the winning team. The entire quiz competition will contain random open quiz for the audience with amazing gifts.
2. And here comes the PPT COMPETITION. Each group can have max 3members. Min can be 1 also.topics will be declared very soon. Top team will get trophy and corresponding certificates.rest will get participation certificates.
3. The last but not the least.

M V Chauhan All India Student Paper Contest 2016


The M V Chauhan All India Student Paper Contest provides a big opportunity for IEEE student members to
come together and discuss the latest developments and future directions in the areas of technology. In this
contest we welcome only full paper submissions both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in all areas of
the Engineering and Technology.

Rules and Guidelines
1. The contest is open to IEEE student members at UG and PG only from India.
2. Original & working prototype developed by the students should only be submitted.
3. The number of authors for any paper should not exceed three.
4. A student can be an author for more than one paper
5. Paper should be prepared according to standard IEEE double column A4 format.

6. Length of the paper preferably should be of four pages and should not exceed six pages.
7. Branch counsellors are supposed to check for plagiarism and attach the following declaration form.
“It is certified that the author……………… is an IEEE student member. The paper entitled ………………….is
his/her own work and and eligible for the M.V. Chauhan all India student paper contest 2016”
In case the institution does not have an IEEE student branch, this declaration should be signed either by a
faculty member who is an IEEE member, or by the principal.

The paper and scanned copies of supporting documents should be submitted electronically through email and

Important Dates:
Last date of Full paper submission: extended 30th th July 2016
Review Process:31st July to 15th August 2016

Prizes: First: Rs. 12000; Second: Rs. 8000; Third: Rs. 5000 in UG and PG each category
Travel allowances through the shortest route by train in addition to local economical stay will be provided to the
final shortlisted presenters (first authors only)

The first authors of the top five papers in each category shall be invited for presentation during AISYC 16 at
LNMIIT at Jaipur/Indicon 2016 to be held in Bengaluru. After the presentation of all papers, the final prizes will
be awarded.
