The School of Accounting, in association with the P.G. Department of Commerce, Utkal University and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (Bhubaneswar Chapter), successfully organized the Accounting Wizard Test – 2026 at the DSBM Seminar & Activity Hall on 11 March 2026.

The event brought together aspiring commerce students, academicians, and industry experts and featured a written examination, insightful addresses, and an interactive session with the keynote speaker Shri Chittaranjan Mohanty, Ex-Executive Director, JP Morgan Chase & Co. The programme was also graced by Prof. R. K. Bal, Dr. R. K. Swain, and CMA Sarat Kumar Behera, who encouraged the participants with their valuable insights. The event concluded with a Prize Distribution and Felicitation Ceremony, where 10 students were honoured for their outstanding performance, celebrating academic excellence in the field of accounting.

BHAVYATAA – 2026 (Edition 6.0), an Event of Excellence, was successfully organized on 28th February 2026 at DSBM, Bhubaneswar. We were deeply honored by the gracious presence of Shri Rajib Sekhar Sahoo, Chairman, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Odisha State Council, Dr. Arun Kumar Rath, Chairman, D.A.V. School of Business Management, Dr. K. C. Satapathy, Regional Director, D.A.V. Institutions, Odisha and Dr. D. N. Mishra, Principal, D.A.V. School of Business Management. The evening commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by inspiring addresses from our esteemed dignitaries and a grand prize distribution ceremony recognizing excellence.
