KIIT Law School (abbreviated KLS and also School of Law, KIIT University ) is a law school imparting legal education to the students. The institution is situated in Bhubaneswar, Orissa within the KIIT University campus and is affiliated to the same. e first law schools in India to offer three conjoined honors degree courses (B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B, and B.Sc.LL.B) that combine law degrees with papers in liberal arts, management, and natural sciences. KIIT Law School is also the first law school of the country which has implemented the suggested curricula of Bar Council of India of 2009. KIIT Law School has been admitted as member of the International Association of Law Schools, Washington, U.S.A. and LawAsia, Australia. KLS offer five year dual degree integrated courses in B.A. LL.B, B.B.A. LL.B and B.Sc. The courses are divided into ten semesters with six papers in each of the semesters. The courses are designed in such a way that it combine law degrees with papers in liberal arts, management and natural sciences. From the Sixth semester, student can choose from Constitutional law, Business law, International trade law, Intellectual property Rights, Crime and Criminology, Human Rights, Taxation law and International law as honours specialization. Several other Honours papers can be added on request of at least ten students expressing their interest to take a subject. Students can also select from several seminar courses which are taught. KLS also offers LL.M, P.G. Diploma and Ph.D. academic programmes.
