Career Counselling Programme – IIMT Bhubaneswar
A Career Counselling Programme was successfully conducted by IIMT Bhubaneswar at Gurukrupa +2 Science College on 15 December 2025. The programme aimed at guiding students towards informed academic and career choices, with a special focus on opportunities in technical and professional education.
The session was led by Er. Bibhu Prasad Routray, Faculty Member from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIMT Bhubaneswar, who interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into engineering education, career pathways, and future prospects. He emphasized the importance of skill development, goal-oriented planning, and choosing the right career based on individual aptitude and interest.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of Mrs. Soma Mitra, Associate Dean (R&P), IIMT Bhubaneswar, who motivated the students through her address on higher education opportunities, institutional support systems, and the role of mentoring in shaping successful careers.

Career Counselling Programme – IIMT Bhubaneswar at D.A.V. Talcher Thermal High School.
A career counselling session was successfully conducted by IIMT Bhubaneswar at D.A.V. Talcher Thermal High School, DAV, Thermal on 14.12.2025. The programme was graced by the presence of our Chairman and Founder, Prof. (Dr.) Srikanta Patnaik, along with Er. Bibhu Prasad Routray from the Department of Civil Engineering, who interacted with the students and motivated them towards goal-oriented career planning.

The session was held in a classroom setting, where a large number of students participated attentively. The speakers addressed various career opportunities available after school education, highlighted the importance of technical and professional courses, and emphasized the role of discipline, values, and skill development in shaping a successful future. The use of visual aids and interactive discussions made the session engaging and informative.

IIMT Bhubaneswar Students Excel at DHRM-2025 International Conference, NEHU Shillong

Bhubaneswar (DMS):
The academic brilliance and innovative spirit of the students of the Interscience Institute of Management and Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar received distinguished recognition at the 2-Day International Conference on Disruptive Human Resource Management: Integrating Artificial Intelligence (DHRM-2025), held at the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong on 20th–21st November 2025.

Two talented students—Mr. Lambodar Jena (MCA) and Ms. Kiran Mohanty (MBA)—presented a well-researched and insightful article titled “ZOHO Workplace Suite: Disruptive Human Resource Management.”
Their paper highlighted the transformative role of the Zoho Workplace Suite, developed by renowned Indian technology leader Shri Sridhar Vembu, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of Zoho Corporation, in reshaping modern HR practices.

The event was successfully completed with great enthusiasm and active participation.

Our Chairman Dr. Srikanta Patnaik had participated in the Biennial World Conference titled “Towards the Foundation of a Universal Economy Based on Human Rights,” organized by the UNESCO Chair on “Economic System and Human Rights” at Assisi, Italy, during 16–18 October 2025. During the conference, he presented a detailed paper on the status and challenges of Human Rights in India, highlighting various initiatives and policy measures undertaken to promote social justice and equality. His presentation was well received and appreciated by the international delegates and experts present at the event.

A Tree Plantation and Environmental Awareness Program was organized by IIMT, Bhubaneswar on 16.09.2025 under the nationwide campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. The initiative aimed to inspire students and staff to contribute towards a greener tomorrow by planting saplings and spreading awareness on the importance of protecting our environment. Such programs not only enhance the campus greenery but also instil a sense of responsibility among the participants towards sustainable living and climate action.”

Ganesh Puja was joyfully celebrated in our college with devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration began with traditional rituals, prayers, and offerings to Lord Ganesha, seeking blessings for wisdom, prosperity, and success. The entire campus was beautifully decorated, and students, faculty, and staff came together to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha. The rituals were performed with great reverence, followed by cultural programs that added charm to the occasion. The celebration created an atmosphere of positivity, unity, and spiritual bliss for everyone present.”
