CSE.Biswanath College Dept. Of Computer Science, Biswanath College The Department of Computer Science, Biswanath College, was inaugurated on 5th NOV 2013.

Presently the Department has 45 students attending different short term courses one of which is web technology. The College has plans to launch BCA and B.Sc -IT from the next academic session. The department also coordinates with other streams such as Science and Commerce to cope with the IT papers that are included in the respective streams. Amongst many future plans, the department will soon organize boot camps on computer programming, embedded systems and robotics.

After a lot of anticipation, finally B.C.A, along with B.B.A, is to be initiated at Biswanath College from the Current Session in regular mode under Gauhati University.

The credit goes to our Dynamic Principal, Dr. Mrinal Borah who has borne the pains of introducing the courses to mainstream students and for the betterment of the brilliant aspirants of Greater Biswanath.

Students who have passed +2 are eligible for the courses.

Notice:
Computer Exams of session 2013-14 of Basic(CCA) & Web Technology will be held on 21st and 21nd of November 2014.
Candidates are asked to obtain examination form from the Library book issue counter and submit the same before 20th Nov 2014 without fail.
Ex Students (of past 6th) who cannot sit for exams can sit for exam at a later date. Others who are currently in Biswanath College Must sit for exams or else their enrolment will be dropped from cse Biswanath College and will be permitted to sit in future exams with payment of fines.
