Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology ( Formerly UCE ), Burla 1992 Batch Alumni Rajkishore Una, Founding CEO of GyanSys Inc. committed to contribute 1.5 crore for the new Bhubaneswar Off Campus Centre.

This initiative is planned to open during VSSUT's Platinum Jubilee and will offer world-class facilities for all students, and provide various advanced degree programs, additional campus recruitment facilities, and an Incubation Centre.

The 15th Convocation of VSSUT Burla was graced by the Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, the 15th President of the Republic of India, the Honourable Minister of Education & Skill Development, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Honourable Minister of Rural Development, Skill Development & Technical Education in the Government of Odisha, Er. Pritiranjan Gharai, and was presided over by the Hon'ble Governor of Odisha and Chancellor of VSSUT Burla, Shri Raghubar Das.

VSSUT Burla, carrying a legacy of 7 decades, is the oldest engineering institute in Odisha, promoting the culture of innovation and technological advancement.

Looking ahead, they are focused on advancing their RC plane, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to elevate their pursuit of technological excellence to new heights.

VeerRacerss- Formula student team of VSSUT Burla dominated the Formula Imperial event, clinching AIR 1 in the EV Category and Endurance with their first EV Formula Student Car, Zeus 1.0.

They further impressed by securing AIR 3 in the combined EV and CV category.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla recently hosted the Internal Hackathon in preparation for Smart India Hackathon 2023. On Sep 16, 2023, students gathered to brainstorm and code solutions for real-world problems. They tackled challenges in healthcare, agriculture, education, etc. Faculty members provided valuable guidance. The event promoted innovation, teamwork, and critical thinking - vital skills for today's world. It's a stepping stone for our teams heading to the national-level Smart India Hackathon.
