The Program imparts the knowledge and skills needed to become an effective manager in a variety of organizational settings. Case discussions are

supplemented with lectures, seminars, games, role plays, industrial visits, and group exercises. It is a broad based, career advancement degree rather than technical training for a particular job within an organization. The broad goal of the program is to provide students with the foundations in content and competencies that will support their development as effective managers in a variety of organizational settings. To stimulate the intellect and enhance intellectual capabilities the case method oflearning is used. The case method is utilized to develop skills needed for problem solving, decision-making, and implementation. Application of theoretical knowledge to real-life problems is tested through this pedagogy. The emphasis is on developing a holistic perspective that deals with unstructured situations and imparting skills to enhance decision-making under uncertainty. Cases are tailored to encourage a vibrant interplay of ideas and their practical application and expose students to both leading edge research and current practice. Cases are reviewed every year to reflect current managerial practices and trends.

Chitkara University is excited to share that Paavni Jagga, a second-year student pursuing BBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Chitkara Business School, has been nominated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a SAARTHI for the Northern zone of the country under the National Education Policy (NEP). The SAARATHI initiative by UGC aims to engage students in the implementation of NEP.

Paavni has been selected for her outstanding contributions in promoting NEP 2020 activities among college students. The chosen SAARATHIs will be expected to adhere to the roles and responsibilities outlined in the NEP SAARATHI guidelines accessible on the official website ugc.gov.in.
