The Hist Association organised a two day History Fest called *_Historica_* from 27th to 28th March '23 celebrating the craft of history writing, and its use in understanding, interpreting, and analysing the events of the past and the contemporary. This festival was an opportunity to explore the many perspectives on the past while our students engaged and competed in the various events at inter college level, like *Debate* on theme whether History is Mythology or not, *Gandhian ideas* and the *spirit of Bhagat Singh* in popular art. Then we had an event called *Dramatis Personae* where students presented views of different historical characters using their own interpretation. There was an exciting *Quiz* on Women in Indian History, and also a very interesting thought provoking event that we call ‘ *History Upside Down’* where students presented an alternative reality if India did not had a partition, how would we imagine this subcontinent.
On the behalf of the History Dept I express *gratitude* to Principal sir, Dr Pawan Kumar Sharma and colleagues who attended this fest and encouraged students with their comments, and critical thinking.
