The Department of Mathematics & Actuarial Science, BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, successfully organized a two-day National Workshop on “AI, Big Data & Future Technologies in Actuarial Science.”
We sincerely thank the Institute and Faculty of ActuariesI and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), for sponsoring and supporting this workshop.
Their encouragement and commitment to actuarial education greatly contributed to the success of the event.
The workshop provided a vibrant platform to explore how Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and emerging technologies are reshaping actuarial science — from risk identification and pricing to predictive modeling, insurance analytics, and enterprise risk management.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished resource persons for sharing their expertise and insights.
Their sessions provided valuable insights into practical applications of AI, regulatory perspectives, actuarial leadership, property & casualty modeling, healthcare analytics, and the evolving risk landscape.
The workshop reinforced the critical role actuaries play in analyzing and managing financial risk across insurance, finance, healthcare, consulting, fintech, and big data analytics sectors.
We are grateful to all participants, faculty members, organizers, and student volunteers whose enthusiasm and engagement made this workshop a grand success.
