Our students of GSS Jain Gurukul had an enriching educational experience during their visit to the Madras Atomic Power Station at Kalpakkam, on March 20,2026, where they explored the campus and witnessed live demonstrations of electricity production. Guided by experts, they observed how nuclear reactors generate power, from the process of nuclear fission to the conversion of heat energy into electricity, while also learning about the advanced safety measures and environmental safeguards in place. The visit offered them valuable practical exposure, bridging classroom concepts with real‑world applications, and inspired them to appreciate the role of nuclear energy in India’s sustainable development. It was a memorable and insightful journey that deepened their understanding of science, technology, and the future of energy.
