Friendships are the family we chose to have, the bond we forge through memory, time and the tribulations of life. They say blood is thicker than water, but the quote reads: “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”— the relationships we make out of nothing but having liked another for fundamentally who they are is the beautiful alchemy we call friendship.
