Institute of Professional Studies and Research (IPSAR) located in Cuttack – the millennium city of Odisha started as an endeavor in 1988 by Late Dr. R.N.Misra a visionary educationist of Orissa in the field of Management and Cost Accountancy profession, in less than two decades IPSAR has evolved into Eastern India’s premier Management institute. The present Chairman & Director is a Fellow member of the ICAI, New Delhi and Ph.D in Commerce has been at the helm of affairs for the last 15 years as Director. During his tenure IPSAR has expanded manifold in infrastructure adding 2 more campuses and 75,000 sq ft of the built – up area accommodating +2 Science and Commerce Junior College, Under graduate courses BBA, BCA, B.Sc. The Institute has permanent affiliation from BPU, Utkal University, CHSE. From a student intake of 200 it has grown to 800 over the years. Faculty:
The faculties are the main drivers through their direct involvement in every aspect of the institute: academics, placement, research and training. Faculties combine a very high standard of teaching and monitoring. IPSAR has 6 Ph.D holders and faculties each having not less than 5 years of teaching experience. The Institute understanding the needs of the industries in various sectors punches in value added training programs at different levels. Thrust on PD, English communication has given an edge to the students. Financial Analytics, SAP, NCCMP of NSE Ltd, Excel Data Modeling, Business Strategy Games, MSME Entrepreneurship, Finacle Software, Android application, Network Security, Robotics, Multimedia, Animation, Core JAVA 2, Tally Accounting, Business Communication have all been part of extra curriculum by which the students excel in respective fields.
