​The Department of Mental Health Nursing, Himalayiya College of Nursing, organized a Quiz Competition and an Essay Writing Competition on 16.05.2026 to observe Mental Health Awareness Week 2026.

​Theme: “Action for Mental Health: Action for yourself, action for elsewhere, and action for all of us”

​Quiz Competition: Testing clinical knowledge and psychiatric concepts, this event challenged students through competitive rounds, reinforcing global mental health awareness and academic excellence.

​The events successfully engaged nursing students, blending academic knowledge with critical thinking to inspire proactive mental health advocacy.

The Department of Mental Health Nursing, Himalayiya College of Nursing, organized a Face Painting and Slogan Writing Competition on 14.05.2026 to observe Mental Health Awareness Week 2026.

Theme:“Action for Mental Health: Action for yourself, action for elsewhere, and action for all of us”

Students participated with enthusiasm, expressing mental health concepts through vibrant face art and impactful slogans. The activity translated clinical knowledge into creative advocacy aimed at reducing stigma and promoting mental wellness. The event was well-received by faculty and judges, and highlighted the students’ artistic talent and thematic understanding.

The competition concluded successfully, achieving its objective of engaging nursing students in mental health promotion through creative expression.
