Launch of Muntakhab Volumes 3 & 4
On 25th September 2025, Principal, Dr. Bijayalaxmi Nanda, Dr. Mayank Kumar (IGNOU) and Dr. Sneh Jha (Miranda House) launched two new volumes of the peer-reviewed undergraduate research journal Muntakhab.
Volume 3: Special issue on ‘Historicizing Pleasure’—exploring power, culture, and everyday meanings of pleasure.
Volume 4: Articles on political culture, women’s writings, folk culture, and food history in Jammu & Manipur.

Guided by a distinguished Editorial Advisory Board (Prof. Raziuddin Aquil, Dr. Aparna Balachandran, Dr. Nonica Datta, Dr. Mayank Kumar), and supported by the Faculty and Student Editorial Boards, the journal highlights the depth of undergraduate research at Miranda House.
Covers were creatively designed by students Shreya Kamboj, Arpita Jain, and Artika Pandey.
Muntakhab remains a proud platform for student scholarship and creativity!
