Vishwakarma Puja 2023: आज विश्वकर्मा पूजा है. सनातन धर्म में प्रत्येक कन्या संक्रांति को विश्वकर्मा पूजा की जाती है. इसे विश्वकर्मा दिवस या विश्वकर्मा जयंती भी कहते हैं. हिन्दू धर्म में विश्वकर्मा को निर्माण एवं सृजन का देवता माना जाता है. ऐसी मान्यता है कि इस दिन भगवान विश्वकर्मा ने सृष्टि के रचयिता ब्रह्मा जी के सातवें पुत्र के रूप में जन्‍म लिया था. भगवान विश्वकर्मा का जिक्र 12 आदित्यों और ऋग्वेद में होता है. हिंदुओं के लिए ये त्योहार बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता है. इस दिन लोग अपने कारखानों और वाहनों की पूजा करते हैं.

विश्वकर्मा पूजा का महत्व
भगवान विश्वकर्मा को सृष्टि का पहला इंजीनियर माना जाता है. ऐसा कहते हैं कि विश्वकर्मा पूजा के दिन घर, दुकान या फैक्ट्रियों में लोहे, वाहन और मशीनों की पूजा की जाती है. भगवान विश्वकर्मा की अनुकंपा से ये मशीनें जल्दी खराब नहीं होती हैं. कार्य, कारोबार में उन्नति आती है. भारत के कई हिस्सों में विश्वकर्मा पूजा बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाई जाती है.

विश्वकर्मा पूजा विधि
भगवान विश्वकर्मा की पूजा और यज्ञ विशेष विधि-विधान से होता है. इस दिन सवेरे-सवेरे स्नानादि के बाद साफ-सुथरे वस्त्र धारण करें और भगवान विश्वकर्मा का ध्यान करें. फिर पूजा स्थल को साफ करें. गंगाजल छिड़क कर पूजा स्थान को पवित्र करें. एक चौकी पर पीले रंग का कपड़ा बिछाएं. पीले कपड़े पर लाल रंग के कुमकुम से स्वास्तिक चिह्न बनाएं. भगवान श्री गणेश का ध्यान करते हुए उन्हें प्रणाम करें. इसके बाद स्वास्तिक पर चावल और फूल अर्पित करें, फिर उस चौकी पर भगवान विष्णु और भगवान विश्वकर्मा की प्रतिमा स्थापित करें.
