The IIIT Delhi Research Showcase is an annual event to exhibit the prominent research and development work being carried out at IIIT-D and other premier institutions in Delhi NCR. The research showcase is aimed for industry professionals and academic fraternity so that they can discover research and development work at IIIT-D as well as other institutions identify potential areas of collaboration.

It brings the most knowledgeable researchers from both academia for example the IITs as well as industry for example Microsoft, Google, IBM, TCS, and the likes, to serve as jury and speakers in the event. Last year's Research Showcase had approximately 500 attendees from schools and institutions in Delhi NCR.

A Developer and an Innovator
He has been creating innovative applications and products from the age of 12 when he started learning coding. After working on a variety of fields including mobile computing, image analysis, security, computer graphics, etc, he is focusing on raising Computer Security awareness where he was recently received an award form the Prime minister Narendra Modi. Currently he is now working on the startup RealVol which aims at improving the state of the art technologies for medical visualisation and volumetric rendering through Augmented and Virtual Reality.

Niloy Ganguly
Niloy Ganguly is a professor of computer science, IIT Kharagrpur who works in three different but related fields: (1)Online Social networks, (2) Network Theory, (3) mobile systems. Prior to his current position as a faculty at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, he was working as a Research Scientist in Zentrum für Hochleistungsrechnen, Technische Universität Dresden for two years. He received his Ph.D from IIEST, Shibpur and BTech from IIT Kharagpur.
He is a part of a very active research group CNeRG (Complex Network Research Group) http://cnerg.org in IIT Kharagpur. He has been collaborating with various national and international universities and research lab including UIUC, TU Dresden, Germany, MPI PKS and MPI SWS, Germany, Microsoft Lab, Adobe Labs, HP Labs, NetApp Labs etc. He currently publishes in various top ranking international journals and conferences including ICDM, ACL, WWW, INFOCOM, SIGIR, SIGKDD, SIGCHI, ICWSM, CSCW, NIPS CCS, PODC, Euro Physics Letters, Physical Review E, ACM and IEEE Transactions, etc.For further information on Dr. Ganguly, please visit his
