What began as a workshop became an inspiring conversation on purpose, participation, and social impact.
The Centre for Development Practice, in collaboration with Lakshyam and the School of Management, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, organized the “Art of Giving Back: Volunteering & Social Entrepreneurship” workshop on 29 April 2026 at Kashmere Gate Campus. Attended by BBA First Year students, the session served as the orientation for the Rural Immersion and NGO Internship course offered in Summer 2026, coordinated by Dr. Richa Awasthy and Dr. Anshu Gupta.
The session encouraged students to look beyond academics and explore how volunteering, grassroots engagement, and social entrepreneurship can create meaningful change.
A sincere thank you to Ms. Rashi Anand, Founder & CEO, Lakshyam NGO, for sharing practical insights and motivating students to approach their rural immersion journey with empathy, action, and responsibility.
Special thanks to the Centre for Development Practice team for their efforts in making this meaningful initiative possible and creating a platform that connects learning with social purpose.
