"QUIZOPHILE"- College level Quiz competition organized by WEBSTERS- Compute Science Society on 2nd and 3rd of March in online mode was a two day event🎊.The Event was part of the various technical,non-technical and fun events organised under TECHELONS-2021🎉,annual departmental fest.These events are organised every year with the objective to provide platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit. The event was successful enough to attract as many as 150+ Registrations from d2C platform and google forms The competition consisted of two rounds viz. MCQ AND Short ans round,The Visual Round . First Round had 20 questions to be solved in 10 minutes time.Total of 6 teams were selected from this round who further competed in the Visual Round in ZOOM platform where a series of images and video were given to the participants to identify . 3 teams made to the Tie Breaker Round where the participants were given to rapidly answer a series of questions which decided the winning two teams of the event. The event was made even more fun and interesting when the audience were also allowed to give answer.. The WEBSTERS team feels proud to organize such a successful event ,convey thanks to our respected teachers for their timely advice and to all our volunteers,organizers for their involvement.The results of various events were declared live itself leading to the successful conclusion of our event.We are grateful to all the participants and big congratulations to all the winners!🎉

The Computer Science society Websters of Shivaji College, University of Delhi conducted a one-day workshop on Internet of Things (IOT) on 1st October, 2019.
The expert Dr. Nikhil Kumar Rajput, Assistant Professor, Ramanujan College, Delhi University delivered a lecture about the current and emerging trends in IOT. The workshop focused on both theoretical and hands-on experience in IOT. He conducted two sessions on Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and installation of window in Raspberry Pi and interfacing of various I/O devices including lights with basic embedded boards using Arduino libraries. The interconnection of various wireless devices using embedded programming and Internet was also covered. This practical session was attended by various students of B.Sc (Phy Sc) with CS. Faculty members and lab staff also attended this workshop.
The aim of the workshop was to impart knowledge about the real time applications of IOT among students and teaching community. The CS graduates have huge job opportunities in this field because of increasing and wide range of IOT applications. At the end, small project was given to students to showcase their talent like IOT based robot, IOT based home animation, IOT based projector remote and more.
