It is a learning community where everyone can unleash the art of expressing emotions and feelings. It aims to make the populace of SGGSCC fluent in the language. EPILOGUE : The Beginning of the End
We have all, at some point, wished for a book to end on a different note or for our favorite
character to have a happy ever after. Right?
So, this time we offer you the chance to be the Author and decide your kind of ending.✨
SESHAT’22 - the annual fest of Meraki, the English Literary Society of SGGSCC presents our
online event ‘Epilogue: The Beginning Of The End’ an opportunity to write your own, perfect,
ending for the story being provided. So, unleash your creativity and pen down your thoughts.
We are excited to read all of them!
Basic Instructions:
1. The abstract of a story will be provided to you through online mode. You will have to write an
ending for the same for about 450-500 words. One day will be given to you for writing.
2. The write-up should be in the English language only.
3. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden.
4. Use of hate speech and/or xenophobic language is strictly forbidden. It will lead to
disqualification.
Judgment Criteria:
1. Fluency
2. Content
3. Grammar

Meraki-The English Literature Society of SGGSCC presents 'POTLUCK POETRY: A Poetry Writing Triathlon' as a part of Seshat'22 - Our Annual Literary Fest.
A three-round poetry event to walk us through your imagination! ✒️🏁🍀
So tighten your thought-laces and come join us.
Date-13 April 2022

Basic Instructions-
1) Each round will consist of a unique prompt which will be revealed on the spot.
2) The participant must curate a poetical piece with respect to each revealed prompt within 30, 25 and 20 minutes respectively in each round.
3) Only English writeups are allowed
4) Plagiarism will lead to elimination
5) Individual participation only.

Seshat '22- The Annual Fest of Meraki, the English Literary Society of SGGSCC, brings to you Pitch Perfect 2.0, an event where you get to bring out your inner writer to put a creative splash to foreseeable endings.

Bid on your favorite characters and genres to create an amazing universe that no one has ever seen before and then compel the sharks to invest in your story.

So brace yourself, as the more twisted the plot, the greater your chance at the winning shot.✨

Basic instructions:
- The participants will have to bid for their favorite characters and genres, write a story based on it and pitch it to sharks to earn the most investments.
- Solo or team participation of a maximum of 2 members is allowed.

Winners shall be rewarded with exciting cash prizes! ;)

So, this is your opportunity to make words go undercover!

SESHAT’22- the annual fest of Meraki, the English Literary Society of SGGSCC; presents I-Spy: A Game of Words🔎

To be precise, in this event you will be given a 'word' that is off-limits and shouldn't be used anywhere in the piece. Now, all you have to do is write a piece that carries the essence of the 'word' and revolves all around it. We would be spying your piece for the given word so make sure we don't find it!

RULES
• Individual participation only.
• Any kind of plagiarism will not be tolerated.
• The given word prompt that you shall base out your piece on shouldn't be mentioned
anywhere in the piece.
• The piece can be either a poem or prose.
• Word limit - 180 words
• Submissions made after the specified time limit will not be considered
