The Centre for Management Studies (CMS) is the easternmost management institute of India and also among the youngest. It came into being with the formal notification of Dibrugarh University about the establishment of the Centre on November 25, 2002. The Dibrugarh University Campus is located at Rajabheta, spread over an area of 500 acres and is at a distance of 6 kms away from Dibrugarh Town (27°

29' North Latitude and 94° 55' East Longitude, Local Time is + 49 min 40 sec of IST)on National Highway No. 37. It is in the serene and natural surroundings full of greenery on a well-developed open area providing an excellent environment for the pursuit of knowledge and development of mental horizons.

The MBA (FT) 2025 Batch students organized an event titled "Startup to Scaleup" on 19.05.2025. The event featured two insightful sessions that highlighted different perspectives of entrepreneurship.

The first session, moderated by Mr. Monjurul Karim Hoque, founder of The Qrious and was featured Mr. Samrat Deka, Director of the SRD Group. Mr. Deka, a third-generation member of the family shared the inspiring journey of SRD Group from a family business to a successful enterprise, while also discussing leadership, spiritual values in business decision-making, and modern management practices such as Kaizen and Six Sigma.

The second session, moderated by Sounoq Raj Phukon a student of the MBA(FT) 2025 Batch, featuring Mr. Monjurul Karim Hoque as the Guest. Mr. Hoque shared the story behind the inception of The Qrious, explaining how the idea emerged despite coming from a technical background and choosing an entrepreneurial path.

Both sessions provided valuable practical insights and inspired students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business growth.
