North East India is the home of very rare flora and fauna and it is very important that youth of the region should be aware about the great bio-diversity and heritage that we are blessed with. It is with this aim in view that our students are taken on guided tours of places of interest. In the academic year 2019-20 the final year students were taken on a visit to Jeypore Reserve Forest which is a unique rain forest, one of the last remaining rain forests in the world. For our students it was a great learning experience.
A visit to Tai- phakey village or Namphake village which is largest such village in Assam with its beautiful Buddhist Monastery was a great eye opener for our students. They were very happy to witness the rich culture of the tribe and their well maintained place of worship and library with its ancient manuscripts.
