Today, the PGSU held a constructive discussion with Dr. Dipjyoti Gogoi, Senior Sports Officer, and Mr. Jitu Ranjan Chetia, Assistant Secretary of the Dibrugarh University Sports Board, regarding the memorandum submitted on 21st July 2025 concerning the Youth Festival.

The following key points were positively acknowledged during the discussion:
•Inclusion of AIU-Standard Cultural Events: Officials responded positively to the proposal for including events such as Group Song (Western), Skit, and Mehendi, which have either been consistently practiced during Varsity Week or previously organized by the Students’ Union.
•Improved Time Management & Cultural Ex*****on: Assurance was given for the adoption of AIU-style digital timekeeping systems, better time management strategies, and curated cultural processions to enhance the overall ex*****on.

🔹 A formal discussion was held with the Registrar and the Member Secretary of DUPGET 2025 regarding this issue.

🔹 It was officially clarified that, since the admission process for the academic year 2025 has already concluded, it is not feasible to release the general answer key at this point.

🔹 However, based on the Union’s request, students who formally applied for access have been provided with their individual OMR sheets along with the corresponding answer keys.

🔹 The Member Secretary assured that the general issue of answer key release will be raised in the upcoming DUPGET Board meeting after the current admission cycle ends.

🔹 The Board has given a preliminary commitment to ensure that a General Answer Key will be released from DUPGET 2026 onwards.

🔹 An official notification regarding this decision will be issued soon by the concerned University authority.

The 6th point of the Memorandum dated 21st July 2025, issued by DUPGSU 2024–25, has now been successfully addressed. The official notification regarding the refund for first-semester (fresh admission) students has been released. For senior semester students, DUPGSU has discussed the 50% fee policy with Senior Accounts Officer Mridul Medhi Sir, who has assured that relaxation will be granted to centre students enrolled in self-financed courses. The official notification for this relaxation is expected to be released along with the admission circular at the commencement of the new semester.

Good news — there will be no lengthy refund process for senior students, as the relaxation will be applied directly.

In short:-
For fresh students: Refund notification has been issued.
For senior students: Fee relaxation confirmed; official notice will follow with the admission notice at the start of classes.
