🎗️🗣️ हिंदी व्याख्यानमाला - २०२६🗣️🎗️

दिनांक 16 मई 2026 को हिंदी विभाग एवं आई.क्यू.ए.सी. डिब्रू महाविद्यालय के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में ‘हिंदी पढ़ने से लाभ’ विषय पर एक विशेष व्याख्यानमाला का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता प्रोफेसर भास्कर बाबू, सहायक निदेशक, राजभाषा विभाग, गृह मंत्रालय उपस्थित रहे।
प्रोफेसर भास्कर बाबू ने अपने प्रेरणादायक विचारों के माध्यम से हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को विस्तारपूर्वक समझाया। उन्होंने बताया कि हिंदी केवल एक भाषा नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय संस्कृति, परंपरा और पहचान का महत्वपूर्ण आधार है। साथ ही उन्होंने हिंदी विषय में उपलब्ध विभिन्न करियर अवसरों जैसे अनुवाद, पत्रकारिता, शिक्षण, राजभाषा विभाग, मीडिया, लेखन तथा सरकारी सेवाओं के बारे में भी विद्यार्थियों को जानकारी दी।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों ने बड़ी उत्सुकता और ध्यानपूर्वक उनके विचारों को सुना। प्रोफेसर भास्कर बाबू ने युवाओं को हिंदी भाषा के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण अपनाने और अपने ज्ञान को नई दिशा देने के लिए प्रेरित किया। यह व्याख्यानमाला विद्यार्थियों के लिए अत्यंत ज्ञानवर्धक, प्रेरणादायक एवं उपयोगी सिद्ध हुई। कार्यक्रम ने हिंदी भाषा के प्रति सम्मान और रुचि को और अधिक बढ़ाने का कार्य किया।
डिब्रू महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. रंजन चांगमाइ, उप-प्राचार्य डॉ. अदिति बरुआ, विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. समीर कुमार झा, के साथ विभाग के डॉ. ईवेलरी कोरडोर डूनाई, प्रो. रिंकी यादव उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम के अंत में नेहा दास ने सभी को धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया ।

“Traditional Agricultural Knowledge Systems of the Brahmaputra Valley: An IKS-Based Documentation and Field Validation through Institutional Internships”
This achievement reflects the growing academic and research excellence of Dibru College in the field of indigenous knowledge systems, rural studies and sustainable development.
The project aims to document and validate traditional agricultural practices of the Brahmaputra Valley through field-based research and student engagement under the Indian Knowledge System framework.
📢 Opportunity for Students:
As part of the project, internship positions with stipend support will soon be opened for eligible students. Interested students will get an opportunity to engage in field research, documentation and community-based learning under this prestigious Ministry of Education initiative.

An Expert Talk Programme on “Energy, Geopolitics and Hegemony” Held at Dibru College

An Expert Talk Programme on “Energy, Geopolitics and Hegemony: Dimensions of the West Asia Crisis and its Implications for India” was organized by the Department of Economics and the Department of Political Science of Dibru College in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dibru College.

The programme, anchored by Dr. Jayanta Saud, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, began with the college anthem. At the outset, the Vice Principal of the college, Dr. Aditi Barua, delivered the welcome address and shared her views on the ongoing Iran–America conflict and the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz. Following her, the Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Kamalendu Saikia, referred to the recent tensions and conflict between the United States and Iran during his speech.

Thereafter, the resource person of the programme, Dr. Kaustubh Kumar Deka, Assistant Professor of the Department of Political Science, Dibrugarh University, delivered his lecture. In his address, Dr. Deka elaborated on geopolitics, the recent conflicts in West Asia, and the significance of the Strait of Hormuz. He also highlighted the historical connection between Digboi and Iran. Furthermore, he discussed the position of the United States regarding the conflict as well as India’s foreign policy approach. He remarked that the ongoing war situation could lead the world towards a severe oil crisis.

At the end of the session, an interactive question-and-answer segment was held, where teachers and students raised several important questions, all of which were thoughtfully answered by Dr. Deka. Faculty members from various departments, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Jaswanta Singh, and students from both departments were present and contributed to the success of the programme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Jonali Das, Head of the Department of Political Science.

Department of Sanskrit, Dibru College Organises Lecture Programme on “Dhvani and Rasatatva”

The Department of Sanskrit, Dibru College, Dibrugarh, in collaboration with IQAC, successfully organised a lecture programme on “Dhvani and Rasatatva”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Gayatri Goswami, former Vice Principal of MDKG College, Dibrugarh, who shared valuable insights on the subject with the students and faculty members.

On the occasion, Volume II of the department’s e-magazine “Kisalaya” was officially released by the Principal of Dibru College, Dr. Ranjan Changmai. The programme also included the felicitation of Sanskrit major students from Dibru College who secured first class in their
B. A examination, 2025 from Dibrugarh University.

The event was graced by the presence of the Principal, Vice Principal, resource person Dr. Gayatri Goswami, faculty members, librarian, alumni and present students, making the programme a meaningful academic gathering.

Career Counselling & Guidance Programme at Dibru College | May 5, 2026

Dibru College, Dibrugarh, successfully organized a Career Counselling and Guidance Programme through its Career Counselling Cell in collaboration with IQAC, which aimed at guiding students towards informed career choices, with special focus on UPSC and APSC opportunities.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Ranjan Changmai, who encouraged students to approach their career decisions with clarity and seriousness. Dr. Adity Baruah, Vice Principal, highlighted the importance of timely guidance in shaping future aspirations.

The resource person, Mr. Ashif Aziz Rahman, Director of the Academy of Civil Services, Dibrugarh, delivered an insightful session on civil services preparation. He elaborated on the syllabus, shared practical strategies, and motivated students to stay consistent and confident in their journey.

Dr. Jaswant Singh, IQAC Coordinator, appreciated the initiative, while Dr. Raujline Siraj Farjina Akhtar, Chairperson of the Career Counselling Cell, emphasized the importance of continuous mentorship and support for students.

Sambhab Bikash Samaj, in collaboration with the Departments of Business Administration & Computer Science and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dibru College, Dibrugarh, successfully organized a One-Day Seminar on “Entrepreneurship Development and Career Counselling” at Department of Computer Science, Dibru College, Dibrugarh.

The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Ranjan Changmai, who highlighted the growth and achievements of the departments and shed light on diverse career opportunities for students. The Vice-Principal, Dr. Adity Baruah, addressed the gathering, stressing the growing importance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic world.

Ms. Archana Kalita, President of Sambhab Bikash Samaj, inspired students to explore start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures, assuring continued support for nurturing innovative ideas.

The resource person, Dr. Khanindra Mishra Bhagawati, former Principal of DHSK Commerce College, delivered an insightful session on the qualities of a successful entrepreneur. He emphasized the need for innovation in the face of increasing competition for jobs and encouraged students to explore areas such as Organic Farming, Agri-Business, Handlooms & Handicrafts, Tourism, Food Processing, and Digital Marketing.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Suman Bharali, Head of the Department of Business Administration and programme anchor, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions.

Insightful Lecture on IT & Career Development 💻✨

An enriching session was organized by the Department of Computer Science, Dibru College, Dibrugarh, where Dr. Ranjan Changami, Principal, inaugurated the lecture by highlighting the growing importance of Information Technology and its integration with industry.

The resource person, Mr. Neepu Handique, a seasoned IT professional and Technical Lead Engineer at Wipro Technologies, shared valuable insights from his extensive experience in software development and SAP Hybris-based e-commerce applications. He was formally introduced by Dr. Manash P. Bhuyan, Head of the Department of Computer Science.

During the session, Mr. Handique emphasized the importance of strong fundamentals in core Computer Science subjects like Data Structures, DBMS, and Algorithms, along with effective communication skills to become industry-ready. He also provided a practical overview of real-world project development and B2C application coding.

He further guided students on career planning, encouraging higher studies such as MCA, MSc, or MBA, and advised gaining diverse experience through early career job transitions. He also highlighted the benefits of working in smaller companies for broader exposure and learning.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Bhuyan, expressing gratitude to the resource person, Principal, faculty members, and students for making the program a great success.
