Our Mission :
To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni and the present students of the Institute and between the Alumni themselves.
To encourage, promote and facilitate education, research and other activities of the Institute.
Our Vision :
The Assam University Diphu Campus Alumni Association, Department of Commerce aspires to be a primary linkage between the university and its family of alumni across the globe, to commit them to the university’s missions of lifelong learning, discovery and engagement, and to attract them to the university service.
Objectives to meet the mission:
To establish a single, secure database of all the alumni of the Institute and members of the association to help people connect with each other.
To encourage the Alumni to take an active interest and participate in the work and progress of the Institute so as to contribute towards enhancement of the social utility of their Alma Mater.
To guide and assist Alumni who have recently completed the courses of study to obtain employment to engage in productive pursuits useful to the society.
To organize and establish scholarship funds to help the needy and deserving students.
To organize prizes and awards for outstanding project work, research papers or other professional activity by the students of the Institute.
To recognize outstanding social and community service by the Alumni and the students.
To inform the Alumni about the ongoing and future activities.
To accept grants or money, equipment, land, buildings, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view to promote and further the objectives of the Association.
To acquire, purchase or otherwise own, or take on lease or hire any movable or immovable property in temporarily or permanently necessary or convenient for the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.
To invest and deal with the funds and money of the Association.
To print, publish and circulate articles, newsletters, journals, bulletins, pamphlets, posters, that the Association deems fit/desirable for promotion and furtherance of its objectives.
To do all such other lawful things that are conducive or incidental to the attainment of the above objectives and/or beneficial to the interests of the Institute and its Alumni.
Our History:
The Assam University Diphu Campus Alumni Association, Department of Commerce was established on 13th July 2012.There were six alumni& four Teachers in the First Meet of this Association. We took this holy initiative as per the suggestion given by our honorable teacher Dr. AyecpamIbemchaChanu.It has its Old Boys/Girls Home in the University Campus. It is professionally active and generous. It is a pride that many ex-students have excelled in their respective professions and have made dedicated and pioneering contributions to the betterment of the country. The Association is dedicated the Indoor Stadium and the Sports Pavilion to the University.
