Assam down town University is proud to recognize Miss Shrijona Hazarika as our distinguished Alumna of the Month.

An accomplished biotechnology professional and researcher, Shrijona has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, scientific curiosity, and dedication throughout her career. She completed her M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Assam down town University and is currently serving as a Technical Assistant at ICMR–NIRT, Chennai, where she actively contributes to national-level health research initiatives and advanced laboratory operations.

Her professional journey includes valuable experience working on an ICMR-funded multicentre research project focused on maternal and fetal health outcomes. A passionate researcher, Shrijona has authored and co-authored research publications in reputed journals, with notable contributions in microbiome studies and enzyme extraction from organic waste.

With her strong technical expertise, research acumen, leadership qualities, and commitment to continuous learning, Shrijona exemplifies the spirit of innovation and excellence. Congratulations to Miss Shrijona Hazarika on this well-deserved recognition.

With profound sorrow, we remember Jeevan Bhattarai a student of B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cloud Technology and Information Security), Batch of 2019–2023, hailing from Nepal.

Jeevan was a valued member of the Assam down town University family whose dedication, aspirations, and kind presence touched the lives of teachers, classmates, and friends. His memories will forever remain in our hearts.
