Dr Unmona borgohain is a Graduated from Regional Nursing College Guwahati, after that she worked as Tutor and then as Staff Nurse at Diphu Civil Hospital. After her post graduation she joined in GNRC Hospitals. Subsequently She completed her Ph. D from Gauhati University, Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Hospital Management from New Delhi and M.Sc. in Psychotherapy and counselling from IPMS Mumbai. She is certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000:2000 by BSI. Dr Borgohain has initiated the culture of in-service education to Nursing at Assam. Dream of Dr Unmona Borgohain , establishing a Nursing Institute with Quality Nursing Education came into reality due to few of great personalities of Assam, most importantly Dr N.C.
