Dear Students,

Greetings.

Hope, you are having a nice mid-sem examination. Please note that placement season is scheduled in the month of December and as part of that Centre for Career Development (CCD) has scheduled candidature registration in the upcoming days.

The following is the two-phase procedure for candidature registration:

Phase I: Biometric Registration: This is to check your attendance in the entire training and placement season for various activities such as soft-skill training, pre-assessment tests and PPTs.

CCD has scheduled the registration process, starting with Biometric
Registration from tomorrow (20 Sep 2017). Eligible students interested in placement are requested to register their biometric credentials as per the attached schedule at the venue mentioned below.

Venue: PPT room, near CCD Office, Admin Building.

Please be on time and kindly remember that we have to register more than 1100 students for biometric. Do not come as and when you wish.

Phase II: On-line Portal Registration: Once biometric is over, you will be notified in due course of time to complete your on-line registration in CCD portal and please note that you can do this from outside IITG campus also. Once you login using your webmail credentials, you will be directed to pay the CCD registration fee of Rs. 1000 by e-payment mode. After which you can register yourselves by filling required details and uploading 2 CVs.

Please be informed that your respective DPRs (Department Placement Representatives) will check your CVs as per the template provided by us. You are requested to cooperate with them and follow the instructions to prepare your CVs. Only the CVs verified by DPRs will be allowed to upload in the portal.

ELIGIBILITY: All the REGULAR B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, MDes, MA, MSc and MS(R) students having a CPI of more than 5.0 are eligible to register for placements. You are advised to visit the below link to read the policy:

Please note that once you register for any placement related event, your attendance for the entire event/season will be mandatory till you get placed.

DPRs are requested to inform their batch-mates regarding the process and guide them during the event.
