Advancing Safe and Responsible Workplaces | Industry Engagement
ABES Business School recently conducted a Management Development Program (MDP) on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) in association with Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA) for WIKA Instruments India Pvt Ltd.at WIKA Instruments India Pvt. Ltd.
WIKA Instruments India Pvt. Ltd., part of the Germany-headquartered WIKA Group, is among the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial measurement and instrumentation solutions.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Sonia Jaitly, Dean – ABES Business School, and focused on strengthening awareness around the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, while encouraging organizations to move beyond compliance toward building cultures rooted in dignity, respect, and accountability.
Through case discussions, practical scenarios, and open dialogue, the program explored:
• The legal framework and intent of the POSH Act
• Recognizing both overt and subtle forms of workplace harassment
• Roles and responsibilities of employees and management
• Strengthening Internal Committee awareness and reporting mechanisms
The program was very well received, with participants appreciating the practical insights and candid discussions around creating safe, inclusive, and professionally respectful workplaces.
Through such industry-facing Management Development Programs, ABES Business School continues to strengthen the academia–industry interface, contributing to responsible leadership and ethical workplace practices.
