The School of Computer Applications at SDGI Global University, Ghaziabad proudly organized the InterVarsity Gaming Championship 2026 on 21st April 2026, bringing together 75 enthusiastic participants from various institutes across Delhi-NCR.

The championship was designed to promote strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, communication skills, and healthy digital engagement among students through an exciting competitive gaming platform.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) R.C. Tripathi, Director of the School of Computer Applications, who welcomed participants and inspired students to embrace competition, collaboration, and innovation.

Participants showcased exceptional gaming talent, quick reflexes, problem-solving abilities, and team coordination in an electrifying atmosphere filled with excitement and sportsmanship.

The Sunder Deep College of Management and Technology successfully organized a Business Plan Competition on 22nd April 2026 for BBA and MBA students, offering a dynamic platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

The event began with inspiring words from Dr. Deepa Kanwar, Deputy Director, SDCMT, who motivated students to think creatively, embrace calculated risks, and transform innovative concepts into successful business ventures. Her encouraging address created an energetic and positive atmosphere for the competition.

The competition was effectively coordinated by faculty members Ms. Anshu Kaushik (Assistant Professor) and Ms. Taruna Tyagi (Assistant Professor), along with dedicated student coordinators — Gungun Mittal, Roop Arora, Tanishka, Ishika, Krishna Dixit, Khushi Chauhan, and Harsh Kumar — whose collective efforts ensured the seamless ex*****on of the event.

Participants enthusiastically showcased their business ideas, reflecting creativity, analytical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit. The presentations were evaluated by esteemed judges Dr. Ravi Prasad (HOD-BBA) and Mr. Mayank Mishra (Assistant Professor) on parameters such as innovation, feasibility, market potential, and ex*****on strategy.

MOCK INTERVIEW WORKSHOP – BBA & MBA STUDENTS

Sunder Deep College of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad
Sunder Deep College of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad organized a Mock Interview Workshop on 17th April 2026 for BBA and MBA students with the objective of preparing them for upcoming internship and placement opportunities through practical exposure and structured feedback.
The workshop was thoughtfully divided into key segments to ensure effective learning and engagement. It commenced with a brief induction session, which introduced students to the format, objectives, and expectations of the workshop, while also motivating them to participate actively.
The first segment, Resume Screening, involved a comprehensive evaluation of students’ resumes. Participants received constructive feedback to improve the content, structure, and overall presentation of their resumes. Each student was assessed and awarded marks out of 50, helping them identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
This was followed by the Personal Interview Session, where students appeared before a panel of HR and faculty experts. The panel asked questions related to core domains such as Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management, along with general interview questions. Students were evaluated on communication skills, subject knowledge, and confidence, and were awarded marks out of 50. Individual feedback was provided to guide further improvement.
The event was effectively coordinated by Ms. Kanika Aggarwal (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Mayank Mishra(Assistant Professor), under the guidance of Dy. Director Dr. Deepa Kanwar and Head of BBA Department Dr. Ravi Prasad. The workshop was successfully conducted with the support of Ms. Anshu Kaushik (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Gaurav Rajput (Assistant Professor).
The Mock Interview Workshop had a significant positive impact on students’ overall placement readiness and professional development. Participants demonstrated noticeable improvement in their confidence, communication skills, and ability to respond effectively to interview questions. The resume screening process helped students enhance the quality of their resumes in terms of content, structure, and presentation, making them more aligned with industry expectations. Through structured evaluation and personalized feedback, students were able to clearly identify their strengths as well as areas requiring further improvement. The workshop also provided valuable insights into real interview scenarios, enabling students to better understand recruiter expectations and handle both HR and domain-specific questions more effectively. Overall, the session contributed meaningfully towards preparing students for internships and final placement opportunities.

The event commenced at 2:35 PM with a warm welcome of the esteemed guests, followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana, setting an auspicious tone for the program.

The Pro-Chancellor (Admin), Mr. Piyush Srivastava, highlighted the vital role of educators in nation-building.
