IIC, Dudhnoi College in collaboration with Assam Science Society, Dudhnoi branch celebrates World Entrepreneurs' Day today on 21st August, 2024 to create awareness on entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership among the students of Dudhnoi College. Mr. Debabrat Rabha, an agricultural entrepreneur was present in the programme as resource person and shared his struggle story with students as well as his knowledge on how to become a successful entrepreneur and also about the role that entrepreneurs play in driving innovation, creating jobs and fostering economic growth in the society.

A one day workshop on "Solid Waste Management" was held on 22nd May, 2024 at Dudhnoi College organized by Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) in collaboration with Eco Club & Department of Botany, Dudhnoi College and Assam Science Society, Dudhnoi branch in association with Institution’s Innovation Council & IQAC, Dudhnoi College. The workshop was funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India as a part of Environment Education Programme Mission Life in Assam. The workshop was attended by 130 student participants from 10 schools of Goalpara district and students from Botany Department of Dudhnoi College. The resource persons of the programme were Dr. Santosh Kumar Baishya, Principal Scientist & Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Goalpara and Er. Benjamin Kaman, Senior Technical Officer, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Goalpara.

A one day workshop on Vermicomposting was held by Institution’s Innovation Council, Dudhnoi College on 21st May, 2024 that was funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India as a part of Environment Education Programme Mission Life in Assam. The workshop was attended by 130 student participants from 10 schools of Goalpara district and students from Botany Department of Dudhnoi College. The resource persons of the programme were Dr. Biswajit Dey, Chief Technical Officer (Horticulture), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Goalpara and Dr. Dipali Deka, HoD & Associate Professor, Department of Botany, Dudhnoi College.
