The University has 5 Schools, 18 Departments and 9 Research Centers engaged in teaching, practice, and research in disciplines as diverse as Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management and Natural Sciences. Shiv Nadar University is built on a sprawling campus spread over 286 acres of land with state-of-the-art infrastructure, sophisticated laboratories, international standard sports facilities, amphitheaters, auditoriums, conference rooms, and smart classrooms. A natural water body in the campus is home to vivid flora and fauna such as migratory birds, wooded groves, palm tree clusters, and more.

Kavyaa Kannan, soon-to-be graduate in B.Sc. (Research) Economics, reminisces about arriving on campus believing she had everything figured out; from who she was to what she wanted to pursue academically. While she initially planned to minor in Computer Science, she is now graduating with double minors in Mathematics and Sociology; a journey that reflects how much she has evolved during her years at SNU.
