Media Coverage | Community Outreach Initiative

We are proud to share the media coverage of the recent outreach initiative organised by Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, through its Pro Bono Club in collaboration with Sharda Hospital.

The team successfully conducted a “Dermatology Care Camp & Hygiene Kit–Medicine Distribution Drive” at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (Boys), Gautam Buddha Nagar, with the aim of promoting skin health awareness, personal hygiene, and access to basic healthcare support among adolescents.

The initiative reflects our continued commitment towards community welfare, legal aid, healthcare awareness, and meaningful social impact through collaborative action.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all faculty members, healthcare professionals, student volunteers, and supporting authorities who contributed to making this initiative impactful and successful.

At Sharda University, legal education is about more than the courtroom it's about showing up for the community.

Sharda School of Law, through its Pro Bono Club – Juvenile Wing, in collaboration with Sharda Hospital, successfully organised a Dermatology Care Camp & Hygiene Kit-Medicine Distribution Drive at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (Boys), Gautam Buddha Nagar.

The initiative was designed to promote skin health awareness, personal hygiene, and overall well-being among juveniles in the observation home. Over 100 juveniles benefited from primary dermatological check-ups, medical consultations, medicines, hygiene kits, and awareness sessions covering cleanliness, nutrition, skin care, and infection prevention.

The programme was led by Dr. Vaishali Arora, alongside Dr. Suneet Kumar Ghai, Dr. Manvendra Singh, Mr. Ashwani Panwar, and Mr. Dharmendra Kumar under the guidance and encouragement of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave and Dr. Ram Murti Sharma. Valuable contributions also came from Dr. Satya, Dr. Simran, and Dr. Gopal, with the active support of Mr. Manoj Kumar Pushkar, District Probation Officer, Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Initiatives like these reflect the true spirit of legal education one rooted in empathy, service, and the belief that every individual, regardless of circumstance, deserves care and dignity.

Sharda School of Law bid a heartfelt farewell to our graduating stars from the B.A.LL.B. (2021–26), B.B.A.LL.B. (2021–26), and LLM (2025–26) on April 27, 2026, at Chandika Auditorium, Block 7.

From nostalgic laughs to emotional goodbyes – the day was all about celebrating the journey, the friendships, and the legacy you leave behind.

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, successfully conducted the Dissertation, Internship, and Psychology for Lawyers Viva Voce for the B.A. LL.B., B.B.A., LL.B., and LL.M. programmes, marking a significant academic milestone.

We were honoured to have esteemed external examiners from the University of Delhi—Dr. Priya Bhatnagar, Dr Pariksh*t Sirohi, Dr Sumiti Ahuja, and Dr Anumeha Mishra, whose academic expertise ensured a rigorous and enriching evaluation process.

The viva served as a comprehensive assessment of students’ research capability, analytical thinking, interdisciplinary understanding, and practical legal exposure, reflecting the institution’s strong emphasis on integrating doctrinal knowledge with experiential and applied learning.

Under the able leadership of the Respected Dean Prof (Dr) Rhishikesh Dave, Sharda School of Law, the School continues to strengthen its academic ecosystem by promoting quality research, critical inquiry, and outcome-based legal education.

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, successfully organised a Workshop on Budget Analysis 2026 on 15th April 2026, with enthusiastic participation from over 120 1st- and 2nd-year students.

The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Union Budget 2025, its structure, and its broader economic implications. Students actively engaged in discussions on key indicators such as growth, inflation, employment, and income distribution, while also developing the ability to critically interpret budget announcements and understand policy trade-offs. The session effectively bridged the gap between theoretical economic concepts and real-world policymaking through interactive and application-based learning.

The event was convened under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, whose continuous encouragement fosters academic excellence and practical exposure among students.

The workshop was efficiently coordinated by Dr Bhupendra Gautam and Ms Saumya, ensuring a well-structured and engaging learning experience.

We were privileged to have distinguished speakers, CA Aalok Mehta and CA Hiral Shah, whose expert insights added immense value by offering practical perspectives and strengthening students’ analytical and policy evaluation skills.

This workshop reflects Sharda School of Law’s commitment to holistic and interdisciplinary education, equipping students to engage meaningfully with contemporary economic and policy challenges.

An insightful guest lecture on “Understanding the Enforcement of Arbitral Awards” was conducted at Sharda University, Knowledge Park, Greater Noida.

Advocate Ashok Doval, the keynote speaker, delivered a concise and impactful session on the legal framework, procedures, and practical challenges in enforcing arbitral awards. Mr Ashok Kumar Singh further enriched the discussion by sharing practical insights from his experience.

The lecture covered key aspects, including:

Legal provisions and the enforcement process
Role of arbitration in India’s dispute resolution system
Practical challenges in implementation
Relevance of international arbitration

The session highlighted arbitration as an effective mechanism for dispute resolution and emphasised the importance of proper enforcement to ensure justice. An engaging Q&A segment encouraged active student participation.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful academic interaction.
