Organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering (NBA Accredited), Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT), Haldia, in association with IQAC, HIT, Haldia, and IIChE Students’ Chapter, Haldia Regional Centre (HRC)

Industry 5.0 marks a transformative leap in the evolution of chemical process industries (CPIs), promoting intelligent automation, human–AI collaboration, sustainability, and resilience. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) enables industries to optimize resources, reduce waste, improve safety, and achieve decarbonization goals. To explore these growing opportunities, a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Integrating AI & ML for Sustainable Chemical Process Industries: A Paradigm Shift Towards Industry 5.0” was organized, featuring renowned experts who shared cutting-edge insights into intelligent process control, predictive systems, and sustainable engineering practices. On 28th November, Team iArtefacts proudly hosted a vibrant ceremony to honor the remarkable winners of ‘ TRINETRO ’—a showcase of artistic vision across photography, videography, poster design, and digital artwork. Each submission reflected originality, storytelling, and a powerful creative voice.
The ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Chanchal Kumar De (HOD, ECE), Dr. Dibyendu Chowdhury (Asst. Prof., ECE), and Dr. Surajit Mukherjee (Asst. Prof., ECE) whose encouragement added great value to the occasion.
