Over 95% of 53,000 travel agents, 1,15,000 tour operators, 15,000 adventure, 2,700 MICE, 19,11,000 tourist transporters, 53,000 hotels & 5 lakh restaurants are facing the heat from poor cash flows. Tourism sees no recoery before 12 months. The industry has sought interest-free credit of at least Rs. 50,000 crore among other things to stay afloat the entire fiscal.
