Every year on March 8, the world celebrates International Women’s Day, a day to honor the strength, achievements, and contributions of women in every part of life. Women play many roles—as mothers, daughters, sisters, leaders, and professionals—and each role shapes families, communities, and society.

Women’s Day reminds us of the journey toward equality, respect, and opportunity.

Over the years, women have broken barriers in education, science, politics, and business, proving their resilience and determination.

At the heart of every family and community, women bring care, courage, and inspiration.

Their support, sacrifices, and hard work often create the foundation for success and progress.

This day encourages us to appreciate and support the women around us and to continue working toward a world where every woman is valued, respected, and empowered.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women who make the world stronger and brighter.

A must read:

Viktor Frankl, one of the great psychiatrists of the twentieth century, survived the death camps of N**i Germany. His little book, Man’s Search for Meaning, is one of those life-changing books that everyone should read.

Frankl once told the story of a woman who called him in the middle of the night to calmly inform him she was about to commit su***de. Frankl kept her on the phone and talked her through her depression, giving her reason after reason to carry on living. Finally she promised she would not take her life, and she kept her word.

When they later met, Frankl asked which reason had persuaded her to live?

"None of them", she told him.

What then influenced her to go on living, he pressed?

Her answer was simple, it was Frankl’s willingness to listen to her in the middle of the night. A world in which there was someone ready to listen to another's pain seemed to her a world in which it was worthwhile to live.

Often, it is not the brilliant argument that makes the difference. Sometimes the small act of listening is the greatest gift we can give.

Kafka grew up under a harsh, demanding father.

As a sensitive child, he was made to feel small and never enough. That feeling stayed with him his life whole life.

He struggled with anxiety and sleepless nights, always doubting himself.

He longed for love, but closeness scared him. He was afraid of being misunderstood.

He worked a draining office job and wrote only in the stolen hours he could claim for himself.

Tuberculosis slowly took his voice, his strength, and finally, his life.

He died at forty, believing he had failed, asking for his work to be destroyed.

He never knew those very words would one day make millions feel less alone in a chaotic world.

I love Kafka, do you?

Before the match, Virat went to Dhoni’s house for dinner, and what followed was a quiet, heart‑warming reunion that reminded fans why their bond is so special. Away from stadium lights and camera flashes, the two legends sat down at Dhoni’s Ranchi home for a simple home‑cooked meal. For Virat, who has often called Dhoni an elder brother and mentor, it wasn’t just a courtesy visit; it was a chance to reconnect with the man who backed him in his early days and handed him the captaincy of India. Over food and conversation, they reportedly spoke less about technique and more about life, family, and how far Indian cricket has come since they first shared a dressing room.

Once dinner was over, Dhoni did something that turned an ordinary evening into a viral moment. Instead of sending Virat back to the team hotel with security or a chauffeur, he himself took the driver’s seat of his car, with Virat sitting beside him like an old friend rather than a superstar guest. The two then headed out for a quiet drive through Ranchi’s night streets. For fans, the image of Dhoni driving and Virat in the passenger seat felt like a throwback to the days when they steered India’s batting and strategy together—Dhoni as captain behind the wheel, Virat as his go‑to man at No. 3.

That drive said more than any social‑media caption could. It showed comfort, trust and a complete absence of ego between two of India’s biggest cricketing figures. Virat has, at times, faced criticism and scrutiny, just as Dhoni once did, but within that car there were no critics—only two players who know exactly what it takes to carry the expectations of a billion people. The relaxed body language, casual clothes and easy silence between them spoke of a friendship that doesn’t need constant public display to prove it exists.

For younger fans who know them more as separate icons than as captain and deputy, this small off‑field episode became a lesson in respect and continuity. It underlined that cricket is not just about records and trophies; it’s also about relationships built in nets, long flights, and pressure‑filled chases. As India prepared for another big game, the sight of Dhoni and Virat sharing dinner and a late‑night drive offered reassurance: eras may change, new stars may rise, but some bonds in Indian cricket remain steady, quietly guiding the next chapter from the passenger seat or behind the wheel.

I heard my mother asking the neighbors for salt. But we had salt at home. I asked her why she asked the neighbors for salt. And she replied, 'Because our neighbors don't have a lot of money, and they often ask us for something. From time to time, I also ask them for something small and inexpensive, so they feel that we need them too. This way, they will feel more comfortable and it will be easier to continue asking us for everything they need.'
And that's what I learned from my mother... let's raise empathetic, humble, and supportive children with too many values to mention!

Meet Abdul Malik – Kerala’s "Tube Master" 🏊‍♂️📚
For over 20 years, this dedicated math teacher has swum across the Kadalundi River every single day to reach his school.
Avoiding a 3-hour commute and 3 bus rides, he carries his clothes in a plastic bag and uses a rubber tube to stay afloat.

His commitment to education has not only earned him respect but also a nickname from the community he inspires.
Today, he also teaches his students how to swim—turning a challenge into a life skill.

True dedication looks like this. 🙌
