Global Business School proudly organised “Decoding Budget 2026 – Business, Finance and Growth”, an insightful academic forum aimed at enabling students and faculty to critically understand the Union Budget 2026 and its implications for India’s economic future, higher education ecosystem, and technology-driven growth.
🔹 Dr. B. H. Nagoor, Professor & Chairman, Department of Economics, Karnatak University, Dharwad, delivered a comprehensive macro-economic analysis of Budget 2026. His address focused on the broader impact of fiscal policies on the country’s economic stability, Centre–State financial relations, higher education funding, and structural reforms. He also highlighted the need for skill-based, industry-aligned education and sustainable policy interventions to drive long-term economic growth.
🔹 CA Sheshgiri Kulkarni presented an in-depth financial and taxation perspective, elaborating on key tax provisions and their impact on agriculture, education, TCS and compliance frameworks. He further discussed emerging trends in investments, gold and silver price movements, global trade dynamics, and the evolving role of fiscal policy in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
🔹 Dr. M. S. Subhas, GC Chairman, Global Business School, reflected on Budget 2026 with a strategic focus on its implications for higher education, digital transformation, research orientation, and the role of technology in shaping a future-ready workforce.
