Election of the Student Council

Student councils provide a representative structure through which students can debate issues of concern and undertake initiatives of benefit to the college and the wider community. It is important that they be given the opportunity to express their views on issues of concern to them in the college. It helps students to enhance their leadership qualities and grow to be capable and efficient leaders in the future.

For the smooth running of St. Aloysius Degree College, the student election was held on 27 July 2017.

Students’ Orientation

St. Aloysius College, Harihar, organized a Students’ orientation programme for degree students on 19 July 2017. The resource persons, Frs. Edward Philip SJ and Ronald Pais SJ, enlightened the students on various aspects of their academic life. During the sessions, they also trained the students on how to uphold moral values, and inspired them to become good leaders in society. The students cherished those moments and enjoyed the activities conducted and were eager to have more sessions of this kind.
