🏛️ Staying ahead of the curve — one workshop at a time.
Faculty and students of IHM Shri Shakti had the privilege of attending a one-day workshop on Urban Solid Waste Governance, under the newly enacted SWM Rules 2026 (effective 1st April 2026) — organised by EPTRI (Environment Protection Training and Research Institute), and coordinated by FHRAI for its member hotels and associates.
The Chief Guest, Shri Ahmad Nadeem, IAS, Director General, EPTRI & Principal Secretary, EFS&T Department, Government of Telangana, along with other eminent speakers, shed light on the steps of Solid Waste Management and the 2026 compliance framework.
Our students received this knowledge firsthand and had the opportunity to interact meaningfully with professional hoteliers. We are grateful to the management and staff of Sheraton Hotel for their gracious hospitality.
