On behalf of the Telangana State, Osmania University will conduct the TG-SET, 2026 examination for Eligibility as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in the month of October, 2026.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The test will consist of two papers.
Duration 3 Hours

Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appearing for the final semester (year) examination in the qualifying degree for entrance test and admission into various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MCJ, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Veeranari Chakali llamma Women's, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological and Dr.Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2026-2027.

SSC Result will be released on 29-04-2026 at 2PM
OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT EXAMINATIONS, TELANGANA,HYDERABAD
It is informed that the results of the SSC Public Examinations, March 2026, Telangana, will be released on 29.04.2026 at 02:00 PM at the Godavari Auditorium, Ground Floor, SCERT Campus, opposite LB Stadium, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad.
The results will be released by Sri K. Keshava Rao garu, Hon'ble Advisor to the Government of Telangana. Smt. Dr. Yogita Rana, IAS, garu -Principal Secretary to Government, and Sri Dr.E.Naveen Nicolas, IAS,garu- Director of School Education, will participate in the programme.

Application Details
Official Website: Applications must be submitted online at tgtet.aptonline.in.
Fees:
General/BC: ₹750 for one paper, ₹1000 for both.
SC/ST/PwD: ₹700 for one paper, ₹950 for both.
Process: You must pay the fee online to receive a Journal Number before filling out the main application form.
Exam Pattern & Eligibility
Structure: The exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of two papers:
Paper I: For those teaching Classes 1 to 5.
Paper II: For those teaching Classes 6 to 8.
Format: Both papers consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a total duration of 2.5 hours and no negative marking.
Eligibility:
Paper I: Intermediate (10+2) with D.El.Ed/D.Ed.
Paper II: Graduation with B.Ed.
Final-year students of these professional courses are also eligible to apply.
Validity: The TG TET qualifying certificate is now valid for life.
