Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad, joyfully celebrated its 62nd Graduation Service, marking a significant milestone in the lives of the graduates.

The service was presided over by Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC. Rt. Rev. Dr. K. Padma Rao, Bishop, Dornakal Diocese & Chairperson, ACTC, awarded the diplomas, in the presence of Rt. Rev. Dr. E. Vijaya Bhaskar, Vice-Chairperson, Board of Governors & Bishop, South Andhra Lutheran Church. The Graduation Address was delivered by Rev. Dr. K. Jesurathnam, Friedemann Golka Professor of Old Testament, United Theological College, Bangalore.

Ms. Alka Manoj, BJP Telangana Senior Leader, along with church heads and leaders, also participated in the celebration.

✨ Women’s Department Farewell Program 2025–2026✨

The Women’s Department of Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad, organized the Farewell Program (2025–2026) as a heartfelt occasion to celebrate and bid farewell to the outgoing students.

Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC, delivered the sermon, encouraging the outgoing students to continue their journey with faith, commitment, and a spirit of service. Mrs. Margaret Priyadarshini, Dean of Women, along with the Hall Deans, extended their greetings and blessings to the students, reflecting care and encouragement for their future.

The program was a meaningful time of sharing, thanksgiving, and reflection, as students expressed gratitude for their journey, friendships, and formation at ACTC.

Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad, hosted a seminar in collaboration with Aradhana TV on the theme: “Christian Media’s Role in Ministry and How to Use Digital Technology for Evangelization.”

Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC, shared his greetings and emphasized the importance of engaging with digital media for effective and meaningful ministry in today’s context.

The session was led by Mr. Paul Devapriyam Pulla, Founder of Aradhana Channel, who offered valuable insights on using digital platforms creatively and responsibly for evangelization.

Faculty and students actively participated, making the session engaging and impactful, while deepening their understanding of media as a tool for ministry in today’s world.

Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad, organized a seminar on “Theology of the Cross.” The keynote presentation was delivered by Rev. Dr. Moses Paul Peter Penumaka, who spoke on “Martin Luther’s understanding of the Theology of the Cross.”

Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC, offered the opening remarks, encouraging deeper reflection on the meaning of the cross in Christian life and ministry.
The program began with a devotion where Rev. V. Alfred Sudhakar shared a reflection on the cross.

The seminar also featured a panel discussion with perspectives from different traditions presented by Rev. Dr. B. Sunil Varakumar (CSI Perspective), Rev. Ch. Helen Salomy (Baptist Perspective), and Rev. G. David (Lutheran Perspective).

The program was coordinated by Rev. Dr. Ch. Joshi Anand Prakash, providing a meaningful platform for theological reflection and ecumenical dialogue.

🚦Traffic Awareness & Road Safety Program at ACTC 🚦

Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad, conducted a Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Program to educate students on the importance of traffic discipline and responsible road behaviour.

The session was led by Sri K. Venu Gopal, Head Constable and Traffic Training Instructor, and Sri B. Vishnu, Home Guard Officer, from the Traffic Training Institute, Goshamahal. They shared insights on traffic rules, safe driving, pedestrian safety, and the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts.

ACTC expresses sincere gratitude to the officers for conducting this informative awareness program.

Andhra Christian Theological College conducted an HIV/AIDS Awareness Program to promote understanding, and responsible awareness among students and the campus community.

Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC, emphasized the importance of health awareness and social responsibility, encouraging students to respond with knowledge and empathy. Ms. Rachana Mudraboyina, the resource person, shared valuable insights on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and overcoming stigma through education and compassion.

Andhra Christian Theological College observed College Thanksgiving Day with hearts filled with gratitude and praise. The ACTC family gathered in worship, offering thanksgiving for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon the institution.

The program was graced by Rt. Rev. Dr. K. Padma Rao, Chairperson, Board of Governors, ACTC, as the Chief Guest. In his thanksgiving message, he reminded the gathering to acknowledge God’s abundant blessings and to continue serving with faith, humility, and gratitude. The service was moderated by Rev. Dr. G. Varaprasad, Principal, ACTC.

Prayers were offered for the College leadership, faculty, students, staff, partners, alumni, and all the ministries of ACTC, reflecting a shared spirit of thanksgiving and commitment.
