IIT Kharagpur Quiz Club in association with the Women Students' Council, is conducting the Annual Women's Day Quiz!

Date: 13th March, (Wednesday)
Timing: 7pm
Venue: V1, Vikramshila
Genre: General

As always, all teams need to be mixed teams of 3, with at least one female member. If you do not have a team but still wish to take part, just show up and we'll assign you a team on the spot!

The topics covered will be diverse and there will be plenty of questions that can be worked out, so definitely give it a try and do spread the word!

International Days and Weeks are occasions to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity.”

This year the theme of International Women’s day “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”, reminds us that ending the patriarchy requires money on the table. We must invest in programmes to end violence against women, and to drive women’s inclusion and leadership in economies, digital technologies, peacebuilding and climate action. We must also focus on increasing the representation of women in leadership positions across various sectors such as business, finance, central banks, and finance ministries. This effort can facilitate investments in policies and programs designed to meet the needs of women and girls.
