BSc Agriculture final-year students at Jollang, Himalayan University, are engaged in practical field-based learning across diverse areas. These include organic vegetable cultivation following National Programme for Organic Production standards, mushroom production, vermicomposting using Eisenia fetida , and value addition through pickle preparation under Food Safety and Standards Authority of India guidelines. Students are also involved in silkworm rearing of Bombyx mori and preparation of Panchagavya. This hands-on training enhances technical skills, entrepreneurship, and real-world agricultural experience.
