The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jagannath University, Jaipur, successfully organized the 24-hour non-stop DevSummit Hackathon 2.0, bringing together innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence under the theme “2-Day Live Coding Projects.”

The event commenced with an inspiring inaugural ceremony graced by Chief Guest Er. Sanjay Kumar, Chief General Manager, BSNL Rajasthan Telecom Circle, and Guest of Honor Er. Brijesh Prajapati, Additional Director General (Telecom), Rajasthan, along with Prof. (Dr.) Om Prakash Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor & Dean, Faculty of Law. Their motivating words encouraged participants to develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges through technology and creativity.

Receiving an overwhelming response of 1500 registrations and 119 participating teams, the hackathon shortlisted 51 teams from 15 states across India to compete in domains such as AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain, and Green Technology. Throughout the event, participants engaged in continuous coding, expert mentoring sessions, industry interactions, and project evaluations by renowned professionals.

Day 2 featured intensive mentoring and judging rounds where participants showcased their innovative ideas and technical capabilities before an eminent jury panel. The event concluded with an exciting prize distribution ceremony, awarding ₹25,000 for 1st position, ₹15,000 for 2nd position, and ₹10,000 for 3rd position to outstanding teams from reputed institutions.

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jagannath University, Jaipur, successfully organized a workshop on “Importance of CAD and Applications” for B.Tech and Diploma students of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

The workshop featured insightful sessions by experts from CAD DESK, Mr. Prashant Tiwari and Mr. Naman Pathak, who introduced students to the fundamentals of AutoCAD along with hands-on training in 2D drafting through the design of a hospital plan.

With the active participation of around 70 students, the workshop provided valuable practical exposure and enhanced students’ technical and design skills. The session effectively bridged the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world engineering applications, making it a highly informative and enriching learning experience.

The workshop featured expert sessions by Mr. Vikas Kumar and Mr. Sunil Kumar, Senior Data Scientists from Grass Solutions Private Limited, who provided practical insights into data cleaning techniques using Python, data warehousing, real-time data analytics, big data analytics, and dashboard design principles.

The Faculty of Law, Jagannath University, Jaipur successfully organized a Three-Day Workshop on “Integration of Research in Law”. The workshop was designed to strengthen students’ understanding of legal research methodologies, analytical reasoning, and academic writing skills.
The sessions, led by Dr. Ankur Sharma, Assistant Professor (Senior Scale), Amity University Rajasthan, provided in-depth insights into legal research fundamentals, formulation of research problems, hypothesis development, data collection techniques, data analysis, and ethical research practices.

With active participation from 54 undergraduate law students, the workshop offered valuable hands-on exposure, enhancing their ability to apply research skills effectively in academic and professional contexts.



Overall, the workshop proved to be highly impactful in building a strong foundation in legal research and methodology, essential for future legal professionals.
