PLANT ATLEAST ONE TREE AND MAKE
" *_APRIL COOL_* "

HAPPY APRIL COOLS DAY

The Environment Club of LKCEW.... under the Environment Education Program, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate change, Government of India, The Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST) organised a Seminar cm Workshop for the students and as well as local area residents on April 1st, 2025. To counter the blazing hot summers our college has come up with a plan to keep residents cool. We request everyone that instead of celebrating “April Fool” on 1st April, plant at least one tree and make “April Cool”!
This small campaign may help make this earth “Cool”. Nature has been giving hints of its fury for the past few years and it is high time that people understand the severity of climate change. In the workshop 50 participants are guided about the plantation process from preparing the saplings and digging the holes to planting and post planting care. The prime goal of ‘April Cool’ is to help plants sustain together as a community as, at the end of the day, it is going to benefit the community where the sapling has been planted.
